Job Title:  General Manager, Global Armor

Location:  Laem Chabang, Thailand

We are a global aid and development dealer for Ford Motor Company and sell/modify vehicles for use by government and non-government organizations and commercial businesses.

Key responsibilities of the post:

• The Global Armor facility modifies finished vehicles from Global Fleet Sales’ Assembly Distribution Center (eg, emergency response & evacuation vehicles, fire & rescue, special off-road, light refrigerated, transit ambulances, etc), adding armoring and other vehicle modifications required for the added weight as well as customer requirements. 
• The General Manager directs the operations of a 5,000 square meter global armor modification facility and approximately 50-100 personnel.
• Oversee Global Armor facility with an annual volume of approximately 1,000 units.
• Supervise Product Engineering Department responsible for the designs of the modified vehicles.

Oversee Purchasing department responsible for procuring over $4m annually.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering or related field
• Technical knowledge with at least 8 years experience, preferably within the automotive manufacturing or armoring field.  At least 4 years at management level.
• Strong business management skills with profit and loss responsibility.
• Experience of leading a technical facility.
• Experience with the development and direction of plant operation, maintenance and monitoring of production targets.
• Good command of English communication is essential.
